| We have just published our first newsletter – Joined-up NEWS. We plan to publish this newsletter regularly throughout the year to bring you updates on InterQB-it® and tips for users.
The leading article in the first issue discusses the fact that the NHS in the UK increasingly relies on Lean to achieve improvement. We then present insights and research findings demonstrating why organisations can not rely on only one management tool but have to develop the way people think and behave. It provides you with more details on how InterQB-it® works illustrated by case studies and testimonials.

In future issues of Joined-up News we plan to cover topics such as Leadership, Complexity and Innovation. The next issue will include a What IF section where we will explore how BA could have avoided the Terminal 5 crisis. You will also find details on the seminars and workshop running in January 2009. We are planning a series of half-day seminars and practical workshops in January 2009 with our partners at the Business School of Birmingham City University and Nottingham Business School.
These events will be highly interactive and informative. Sessions combine hands-on activities with sharing of academic background material and will cover topics such as:
- complexity and inter relationships between strategy and operations
- leadership and developing a holistic vision
- principles of InterQB-It®
- complementary tools and techniques.
Case studies and examples will cover a range of public sector and industry applications. More details and invitations will be included in the next issue of Joined-up News.
